Twitter is a subject on my mind this morning and well, pretty much the past week of so. I do my best to utilize my new found PLN on twitter as much as possible, but over the past week I've really given deep thought as to why I tweet.
I tweet to remember dynamic presentations or conversations I'm a part of.
I tweet to share my thoughts and what evokes emotions.
I tweet to further my learning and processing of a new topic.
I tweet to share what I'm doing and what I'm learning.
I tweet to plant seeds in my staff, hopefully stirring the waters for growth and development.
I tweet because it's fun to be in a session and read others' reactions about the information presented.
I tweet to be a part of something bigger than my world.
Just yesterday I was recommended as someone to follow and learn about twitter. The person who recommended me is a professional educator for whom I have a great deal of respect and hope to emulate at some point in my career. It was a honor to say the least. But most importantly, it got me to thinking about twitter and my own professional goals.
