It's the close of day two at TCEA Tots and Technology Conference in Galveston. I didn't realize, but it's their first year to hold this conference. I have made the definitive decision that I will be sending a team of teachers here next June. In my earlier post, I listed a few - very brief, tidbits I learned. Garland ISD has two instructional technologist for their 47 campuses and these gals get the work done! Along with be super tech-savvy, they have fun while doing it. Using a theme to motivate teachers just struck a chord in my heart. Click here for link to her blog.
I had been wondering if purchasing Pages, Keynote and Numbers for my iPad was really worth it. I $9.99 each I had to think on it. Well, after hearing these tech-savvy ladies from Virginia, I decided to bite the bullet - and $30! - and just do it. Nike would be proud.
All in all, TCEA was a fantastic conference!
