With the close of the school year, inevitably I get the question, "So what do you do up there in your office all summer?" And the answer is, a lot!
The Summer To Do List:
- finalize the 2010 budget
- finish the 2011 master schedule
- create classes
- hire several staff members
- oversee summer cleaning projects
- organize my office!!!
- revamp RtI procedures to better reflect Dr. Ogonosky's findings
- present at two conferences
- attend a third conference
- begin planning for 2011 with PTO
- GPC meetings
- make appearance at summer school and destiny camp
And that's just the beginning! There are reports due to upper administration, evaluations to be completed, paperwork to be shredded or filed, classrooms to be moved and a whole host of other things.
It appears I'll be a busy woman. And that's just the way I like it.
